Nite Owl

Celebrated Alvin's bdae at tampines. Not much change since i last saw Alvin, still as talkative as ever. Ate at fish & co, seafood platter (gd! esp the mussels and squid and herbed dory), swordfish collar (gd) and the portugese chilli crab (lousy - small mud crab, difficult to eat). Walked and talked (hehe) after that, ending up in a japanese place for dessert. Black night dream - vanilla ice cream with pinkish red blackcurrant ice (not a single black thing on the dessert?!), Green Tea ice cream with red bean (again no obvious sign of red beans), which was nicer.
Left for clarke quay with Aud, to meet cher, seng wai and jason. Walked from city hall to clarke quay, then to the clubbing area near riverside point. First time clubbing, and it was a so-so experience at the arena. Drinks were mostly watered, could hardly taste any alcohol. Music was average, and the layout was just plain cramped. But still, it was an enjoyable experience. By the time we left, it was nearing 3 am, thank god for nightriders (a first time taking the bus - slow in coming but damn fast on the road and convenient), reached home at 4 to knockout in bed.
Looking forward to the next meet-up at settelers... (contract signing anyone?... hehe)
