a sHorT noTe...

Was a fun 2 weeks in NS. Yes, fun. Never heard of so many ways to use "opening adresses" and "closing adresses", according to the commander. Quite slack so far (the most exercise we did was 2o crunches, 10 push-ups, 10 jumping jacks, some others), but the 1st 2 weeks is supposed to be the "honeymoon week" where no torturing takes place...yet. Its hard getting used to going bed at 1030, waking up at 5 am >.In B(ronco) company platoon 4 section 3 bed 8... the most 'enthu' section of the platoon. 1st to fall in, 1st to fill the bathroom when it comes to bathing time, heh heh. Located on the 5th floor of the building. Top level wih the freshest air... but hell of a climb every time, especially in full gear.
Let's see... quite a nonsense but fun platoon. Other people singing army marching songs during road march and there we are lustily singing chinese songs and golden oldies like 'stand by me', 'lao shu ai da mi', 'tong nian', 'fool again', 'right here waiting', 'qing tian' etc.... u get the picture. wahahaha... funny but FUN =D
The moment I booked out was off to dinnerat the airport with some old 4/1 ppl. Only 4 of us, me, Alvin, Yin Ning and Aud. Alvin still the same as ever, yak yak yak... heh heh. Got his hair braided when we were bored (go see Aud's blog).
O wells. Its off to see Da Gang tomorrow. Supposed to go see museum, but have to book in by 620... Sad...less than 28 hrs out then its back to Tekong, where hopefully hell does not begin. Sunday is 8km route march, followed by a 6 day field camp. 6 days with no baths, digging holes, sneaking around in the dark and crawling in the mud. FUN!? o.O we'll see.
Time to catch up on my sleep... may post mre tmrw...
